« Thread started on: Jun 5th, 2004, 5:33pm »

Went into a pawn shop to browse and came out with a Charvel...I think its a STX delux....the more I played it the guy kept coming down on the price.I paid 290 for it. I was trying to date it but cant seem to. (serial #354682) It does not have pick ups with the pole positions so I assume that they are noiseless and all the STX deluxes Ive seem have the pole pieces on them and mine has a coil spliter on the humbucker. this thing sounded awesome acoustically because they did not have an amp set up. When I got it home it blew my lone star strat out of the water.

I can tell you that the Charvel's with 6-digit registration numbers were made in Japan and were supposed to be of the highest quality, every bit as good as the USA made.
