Jackson AT-2T

Not sure if I'm on the right forum, but will start here.
I recently picked up a Jackson AT-2T Archtop model. I need a backplate and a truss rod cover, and in checking with the new masters at Jackson/Fender was told they need to know whether it is a USA or MIJ model.
I think THEY should be the ones who know this, but they don't seem to and I don't either. Can anyone help?
The neck plate is plain chrome, so I am wondering if someone switched it out. There doesn't seem to be a SN# anywhere else on it.
