OK, I'll get the ball rolling.... Who here has a Nightswan that can give us a little insight about the guitars?

From what I've read about them, they would be harder for a big handed guy like me to play. I guess they have a real skinny neck on them.

HELLO BROS grin if i'm not mistaken the nightswan and the proaxe share the same neck profile shocked i've owned and sold at least 4 proaxes, personally i don't like them, the neck is too small for my big hands, us clods with big hands fair much better with the wider necks, i love my 85 pacer with the r-5 locknut, big, wide grin grin the standard and most popular is the r-2, 1 5/8 wide which is what the proaxe and nightswan do have in common. i've never even seen a swan in person cry cry much less play one cry cry only going by what i've heard about them grin

I've got a candy red swan, and it has to be one of my favorite, if not my fav guitar.

The R1 nut is great for guys like me with smaller hands. Short gibson scale makes makes string bending easier.
I thought that I remember reading somewhere that the neck profile was different between the swan and the proaxe, but i've never played a proaxe so I cannot confirm.

I won't go into a whole lot of info cause its all at vintagekramer.com anyway.

I am in the process of putting my swan back to stock.

When I got it the previous owner had switched the JB and full shred around so the JB was at the bridge instead of the neck. Never thought too much about it until i got my archtop stagemaster. Both guitars have JB in the bridge, but the JB in the Stagemaster has a much fuller sound, maybe due to it being neck thru?

So tonight i'm gonna undo and resolder the pups so that the full shred is back at the bridge. Only thing i'm curious on yet is if this capacitor/resistor thing that's soldered to the volume pot is stock or not.
